Hello everyone! Isha Gupta here with you today sharing a mixed media card using some new release products. I used the stencil from previous releases but that’s one of my most favorite one.
This new Aloha Stamp Set screams tropical and it immediately gave me this visual scene.
I started by creating my background panel. I took a watercolor mat and sponged some ink to the bottom part. I then used the Brushed Stroke Waves stencil and sponged some more ink through it. Now, I added a bit of texture paste through the stencil, removed the stencil and added some more texture paste to the top of the panel. Let it dry.
I then added a little pink and yellow color wash to the background, flicked some water and let the panel dry fully. Meanwhile, I stamped the floral cluster and a few leaves from the Aloha stamp set and colored them using watercolors. I then die-cut the images using the coordinating dies.
I adhered the panel onto a pink cardbase and all the images onto the panel. To finish off, I used the Blue Sky Heaven sequins from the newest release. I love the mix of various shades in here. Lastly, if you love adding sequins or gems to your projects, you MUST try and use Triangle tray….it makes using embellishments and putting them back in the small pouches so easy …HEAVEN…lol
Hope you enjoyed my card. Happy crafting!
