I like to colour stamped images from time to time. I don’t have a plan at that time usually, I simply pull out some watercolour supplies and have fun playing with them. It saves me time later if I need to make a quick card.
To match my watercoloured image I took a piece of watercolour paper, made a quick watercolour background by scribbling with water colour markers on my glass mat, spritzed it with water and put the paper into that colourful puddle. Once it was dry I die cut out a panel out of it using frame die from DOTTED PATTERNS SET 1 and dry embossed it using GRID STENCIL. I added some splatter with yellow, black and white paint.
I decided to heat emboss a sentiment with white embossing powder on a piece of black cardstock. I took a love you sentiment from FLORAL WREATH and did a little stamp surgery to stamp the two words in a row. I added MOM word from BEST EVER stamp set underneath.
I foam mounted watercolour panel onto a yellow card base, I also foam mounted the sentiment and flower image. Final touch – some SNOW CRYSTALS all over the card.
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
