New Neighbours

February 4, 2019 / CATEGORIES - Other

Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today. I took the month of January off so this my first chance to wish you all a very happy new year 🙂

The new year has brought us new neighbours, we are quite lucky that we only have one set of neighbours and the property next to us has been empty for nearly two years so it is nice to actually have someone living there now.

I wanted to make them a card and decided to use the Whimsical Town Stamp set to do so.

I started off by stamp one of the houses, this one had a tree on the roof which I didn’t want so I masked that off with some washi tape and stamped the image onto some Neenah Solar white. I also stamped the largest tree from the Holiday Village stamp set.

I coloured both images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and used the matching dies to die cut them out, I also used the cloud dies from the Whimsical Town matching dies to cut out a couple of clouds.

Once that was done I also used the Fancy Circle Die to create the window and I marked that area roughly out onto some Neenah and then I used Distress Inks to create the background.

Once that was dry I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Village Stamp set and started to assemble the card.

I used foam tape for the main panel to give some dimension and I adhered all the other pieces, bar the house flat. The house I used glue dots to adhere that.

A fairly clean and simple card perfect for a new neighbour and also helps get more out of those holiday sets.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.

Happy crafting .
