Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, and today I am back with a fun Halloween slimline card that does not require any coloring! As always, there is a video tutorial that shows the entire card making process – you will find it at the end of this post.
This card was inspired by the one in the picture above. I made this cute last week, during my weekly live stream on the Studio Katia page – you can watch the replay here and find the supplies for the card here. You can also join me every Thursday, including today, at 2 PM ET, if you enjoy crafty lives! There is also a 15$GC that is given away each week – one more reason to watch! 😉

Back to today’s card, I decided to use the Shaker Pumpkin Die for my focal point and the Dotted Slimline Set 2 for my card base. I die cut all the elements out of colored cardstock and added some shading with Distress Inks!

I used Wilted Violet and Black Soot on the purple panel, where I also used the Spider Web stencil. For the green panel I used Lucky Clover, Pine Needles and Black Soot Distress Inks.

I added some droplets for an additional fun effect and I stamped images from the Meowy Halloween stamp set on the green panel. This way I created a custom patterned paper effect, which adds even more interest to the project. The sentiment, from the same set, was heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

For the pumpkin, I started from some orange cardstock, that I shaded with Ripe Persimmon and Black Soot Distress Inks. I cut the leaf and the stem out of some green cardstock and blended Lucky Clover and Black Soot Distress Inks on top.

I also created spiderwebs out of dark grey cardstock. I used the Spider Web Shaker die, Distress Ink in Black Soot and FSJ Ink in Whip Cream.

I then coated some elements of the card with a glitter brush pen and finished everything off with some Seafoam, Amethyst and Onyx Black Pearls.
And that’s my card for today! Don’t forget to watch the video below for a step by step tutorial and make sure to subscribe to the Studio Katia channel for more inspiration!
Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!
