Galina is here and today I have something unusual to share 🙂 Have you ever experimented with color combos for your Christmas cards? Or do you use only classic colors like red and green? This season I went crazy and almost didn’t have regular red and green Christmas cards.
For my card I used a new ORNAMENT SHAKER DIE and SIMPLE SNOWFLAKES STENCIL with some of my old but still favorite dies.

How I made this card you can watch here or on the Studio Katia Youtube channel.
To create multi-colored shiny snowflakes you will need only one clear glitter paste! I applied red, orange, green and pink Distress ink theituth the SIMPLE SNOWFLAKES STENCIL directly on the yellow card panel. Next I cleaned the stencil and applied Nuvo glimmer paste to add shine to my Christmas card.

Next I cut out two ornaments using ORNAMENT SHAKER DIE from a light pink cardstock. Also I cut out two ornament bases from a vellum. I colored the inner snowflakes with a dark pink marker and attached them to the vellum.
Using a large rectangle die from Dotted Patterns Set 1 I cut out a yellow frame and foam mount it on the panel using 1/4 WIDE FOAM ROLL – 1/16″ THICK.
I stamped a small sentient from WINTER GREETINGS and placed it under the ornaments. I embellished the cards using a few GOLD SPARKLE CRYSTALS.
Thanks for stopping by!
