Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts with you today, and I made a cute ocean scene birthday card!
Take a look:
I just love geometric shapes, so I decided to make three rectangle windows that will show a beautiful ocean scene behind it. Studio Katia dies always have a beautiful pierced edge and today I used a rectangle that can be found in Dotted shaker tag 2 die set. I positioned the rectangles in the small treangle that covers most of the card front.
I used the inner pieces of the die cuts for ocean background which I made using distress oxide inks. First, I created an ombre using Tumbled glass, Faded jeans and Black soot colors on which I used a Underwater sun rays stencil along with Antique linen ink. The last detail I added were some splatters that I made using white paint.
Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from the Under the sea and Shell-ebration stamp sets. I used alcohol markes and I went with mostly green and yellow shades.
Once everything was colored I decided to add a sentiment that reads ‘Happy birthday’ and can be found in Kobi bearing gifts stamp set.
I glued everything together using double sided foam tape and Studio Katia glue.
Thank you so much for joining me!
Kaja

Gorgeous card. I love the little faces. They remind me of Finding Nemo, which is one of my favourite movies. So cute, thanks for the inspiration
Fantastic fun window shapes. I love how fun you have made the design on this card, your colour work is awesome & I love the geometric shapes instead of just squares or circles. Fantastic !
Adorable card Kaja. I love your gorgeous layout and beautiful colouring. Thank you so much for sharing.
