Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with two easy cards with the same design and a video showing how to make them!
I used the Brush Stroke Waves Stencil together with a pink ink to create some detail on my vanilla cardstock and then moved on and worked on the tags, that are the focal point on my design.
I started by die cutting some teal cardstock with one of the dies in the Dotted Patterns set 3 dies. I then used the Light Ray stencil to create some interest on the tag. I blended some white ink first and then I layered Stickles Glitter Gel in the color Moondust on top. This added some very nice spakle to the stenciled pattern. I repeated these steps twice to create two tags.
The images I used are part of the Jawesome stamp set. I stamped them with Hybrid Black ink and I colored them with Arteza Brush Markers. When the coloring was over, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the greetings on my cards, I used the Lovely Words dies and die cut them out of some black cardstock.
I assembled my cards, swapping the die cut rectangles so that I would have vanilla and blush cardstock on each card. I raised the tags and the images on foam tape for added interest and dimension.
I coated the sentiments and some parts of the images with a Glitter Brush pen first and then with glossy accents, and I finished off the cards with some pearls. I used Lemon Burst and Ripe Persimmon (Ripe Persimmon pearls are currently sold out, but you could use Rose Pink instead).
And these are my two cards with the same design! Don’t forget to watch the video down below for a step by step tutorial and to subscribe for more inspiration!
Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
