Galina is here and I want to share with you one of my favorite die cutting techniques – partial die cutting. It’s perfect for creating one layered cards, but I couldn’t resist adding just a bit of dimension.
For my card I used a beautiful stamp set – HAPPY TULIPS with a coordinating die. There are a lot of cute small sentiments in the Tulip stamp set, for sure you can use them or try some big sentient lke I did.
How I made this card you can watch here or on Studio Katia Youtube channel.
I colored the tulip flowers with alcohol based markers called Copic markers. I used such colors : R21, R24, Y11, YR24, YG21, YG25, BG11, BG15.
Also, I used AUTUMN LEAVES STENCIL with a light grey distress ink to create a nice pattern on the bottom of my card.
I heat embossed the large sentiment using gold glitter embossing powder and stamped another sentiment with blck Versafine ink.
At last, I embellished the card with a few GOLD CRYSTALS. I attached them with a clear shiny side up.
Thanks for stopping by!
