Hello friends! It’s Galina with another video tutorial for you! Today I’ll share some watercolor and die cutting tips featuring winter Kobi stamp set and Dotted PAttern set 4.
How to make this card you can watch here or on Studio Katia’s Youtube channel HERE.
I cut out a white panel from a watercolor paper using a boggest die from Dotted Pattern set 4. And with a medium die from this set I cut out a big red frame a nd a small gold frames.
I stamped few images from Winter Kobi stamp set on the watercolor panel. I stamped them with black archival ink to be able to color the images with watercolor markers.
So, I picked two shades of a green color for my tree and I’m going to color it from the lightest shades to darkest. And I applied ink only on edges to create a light spot in the center of the tree.
I want to create a glowing effect around all tiny lights. I simply color them with one marker and then I wash out the color with my water brush, I made a circular motions with the brush to create a light color dots around the lights. After my coloring was done I put on a paper a clear beads, sequins, white jewel crystal and super awesome acrylic snowflakes.
I cut out a sentiment using Merry Poinsettia dies and I foam mount it inside of the left window.
Thanks for stopping by!
