Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika Crafts and today I have a cute Christmas card for you!
If you know my cards, than you probably know that I just love cute critters and I couldn’t resist making a Christmas card with our lovely Winter Kobi.
First, I stamped him out along with a bunch of presents that I masked off so I got a huge pile of gifts. I colored everything with alcohol markers and added some details with my white gel pen.
Next, I made a background. I decided to use two colors of distress oxide – Broken china and Cracked pistachio. I find it super easy to blend Distress oxides and sprinkling it with some water makes it even more beautiful. I wanted the effect of snowing, so I added some white splotches and the background was finished.
I die cut the ink blended piece with Stitched nested creative rectangles, to give it a finishing touch. I felt like my Kobi needed a ground, so I die cut the same rectangle in white and made a hill using my scissors.
The last thing I added was a sentiment ‘Merry Christmas’ from a set Sweet holiday. I stamped it in black on a white card stock and I fussy cut it out with my scissors.
I glued everything together with my double sided tape and some foam squares. This finished up the card!
Thank you so much for joining me! See you next time.
