Hello crafty friends!
Today I have a super cute plaid card to share with you that I created by simply rotating and flippling one die. I love stretching my supplies to create something totally new!
To create the plaid. I used the HALF STRIPED COVER die to cut out 4 different shades of pink cardstock. I then layered each piece by either rotating or flipping the die-cut piece and glued them all together. To finish the background, I then glued the plaid layers onto a piece of red cardstock.
For the greeting, I used the stamps from KOBI’S HUGS and KISSES stamp set and to frame the sentiment I used the outer heart frames from the SHAKER HEART dies that I stacked and glued 3 times.
Here is a closer look at all the layers. To embellish the stamped hearts I added some liquid pixie dust for sparkle and then topped them off with glossy accents.
Super simple, and so pretty! The perfect card to give a friend or loved one for Valentine’s Day š I hope you were inspired by this layering die technique.Ā
Thank you for stopping by and until next time… Happy Crafting!
