Today we are introducing a new member of the Studio Katia Team and would love for you to meet Monica.
My name is Monica Zerpa. I am so happy to be part of the Studio Katia family. I’m a wife and mother of two young girls. Originally from tropical Venezuela, I now live in frigid Canada with my family. I have been crafting since a young age, being introduced by my elementary school teachers where I started paper crafts with a focus on parchment work (pergamino) and a few forms of fiber art. I also tried clay work, stained glass and frosted glass among many others. As an adult, I started scrapbooking but quickly went back to my cardmaking roots and I haven’t stopped since. To me, crafting is my time to disconnect and relax and it has become a helpful tool to manage anxiety. Thanks in advance for checking out my projects and for your support.
You can find me on social media @needleandpaper (IG, Pinterest, FB).
Monica has an amazing eye for colour and texture and we are sure you’ll give her a warm welcome to the SK family.

XOXO
