Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I have a watercolored Christmas card prepared for you!
Take a look:
Watercoloring makes me calm, so I stamped out the whole background using the Poinsettia trimmings stamp set and started coloring. It took me more than half an hour to color everything in but it was worth it! For the coloring I used ZIG watercolored markers and a water brush.
Once everything was colored, I took the rectangle from the Dotted patterns set 3 and I die cut my background with it. The die gives a beautiful dotted edge along with rounded corners which makes the background even more gorgeous.
Next, I took some vellum and die cut an oval out of it using the second biggest die from the Dotted ovals stamp set. I used vellum because I didn’t want to cover too much of the background I spent so much time coloring. 🙂
Of course I also needed a sentiment and I decided to go with a ‘Merry Christmas’. I stamped out the word ‘Christmas’ from the Poinsettia trimmings set in black ink and for the ‘Merry’ I used the die that is included in the Merry poinsetta coordinating dies.
I used the Studio Katia glue to glue everything together, the only thing I popped up with some foam tape was the word ‘Christmas’. I was really carefull with glueing down the vellum since I didn’t want the glue to show through it.
The last thing I added was some clear drops around the sentiment and that finished off the card!
That’s it for today, hope to see you again soon!
Kaja

Beautiful card !!
Oh Kaja, this is STUNNING! The poinsettia background looks amazing water coloured with the Zigs. Well done.
Intensely-colored flowers, and I like the vellum shape.
Why do you all make such beautiful cards with the even more beautiful stamps, this is so bad for my wallet!
Thank you so much for showing this awesome card Kaja and have a nice weekend.
