Hi there everyone!
So glad to be back here and I have a floral card to share with you today.
My card features the Japanese Peony Stamp Set which has a gorgeous, large size bloom and several leaves to go with it. For my card today, I stamped this bloom twice and heat embossed it in white. I also stamped quite a few leaves. Next I opted for messy watercolouring. For this, I applied water onto the whole image, dropped in colour and then spread it around. After this first colour wash was slightly dry, I went back in with concentrated colour to add soft details. I didn’t add a very concentrated pigment because I wanted to keep the florals soft and airy so they would give a feel of summer.
After the colour was dry, I went ahead and die cut my images using the coordinating die set. Next, I worked on the card front. I used a very light colour wash of teal blue to make the base for my floral spray. I also added a few black paint splatters and then placed my images.
In the end I popped up a sentiment and some Crystal Clear Fusion.
I hope you liked my card, that is all from my side today.
