Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today to share some inspiration using the gorgeous Blooming Bunch stamp set! I have been experimenting with watercoloring with Distress Oxide inks, and I love the results. They create a wonderful creamy texture that is so fun to play with! Let’s get started with the details!

I began by stamping the gorgeous Blooming Bunch on some watercolor paper and heat embossing it with silver embossing powder. I then used Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender, Seedless Preserves, Spiced Marmalade, Stormy Sky, Lucky Clover, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide reinkers to watercolor the beautiful flowers in a pretty magenta, lavender, and pale pink color scheme.

Next, I used the largest Dotted Patterns 3 die to die cut the watercolored panel. I love the little detail that the dots add to the edge of the watercolor panel! I mounted it on a panel of lavender shimmer card stock.

For the greeting, I die cut the Thank You once from glitter card stock and twice more from white card stock, adhering them together to create a dimensional die cut. For a little sparkle, I added some June Crystals using some liquid adhesive.
Well that’s all for me today! I encourage you to try watercoloring with your Distress Oxide inks. It’s such an interesting effect and so fun to try something new with supplies that you already have! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a marvelous weekend!
Emily
