Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today.
I recently saw someone say they felt intimidated by large stamps, especially large floral stamps. I decided to create a card thats not only quick to create, but you also do not need to be a colourist.
I wanted to go for a slightly faded, almost distressed look for this card and I have used the new Floral Garden Stamp and stamped it directly onto a top folding A2 card. I used Rose Gold inkpad for this and only stamped once for that look, I really wanted the Sentiment to pop.
For the sentiment I have used the new It’s Your Birthday Stamp set and I stamped that twice using black ink to make it really pop.
You could easily heat emboss this sort of stamp, or even use a watermark pad onto a dark coloured card, the possibilites are endless and you really do not need to color it to have an impact or make it a stamp you reach for time and time again.
I couldnt resist adding some of the new Pastel Rainbow Confetti to finish the card off and it is done.
So there is an easy way to use a large floral stamp that does not include colouring.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, have a great day .

I love that large sentiment and that’s a great way to use the floral stamp. They can be a bit intimidating, I like this idea.
I’m so glad you like it. It’s such an easy technique and gives you another way to use these types of stamps
Stunning stamp and awesome card Tracy. When I first only saw the card and not read the post yet, I wondered how you got that faded look. Never thought it would be so easy. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome inspiration.
Wow Tracy, I really needed this reminder! I often forget how beautiful and classy a simple card can be. Of course this really works in my opinion, because of the stunning floral garden stamp. The size and detail l of that stamp are perfect for so many techniques and ideas, but I really love this look. I don’t always have to have evwry new item or technique crammed into one lone card! Lol thanks again for your time, tips and talent.
I’ve seen the Floral Garden stamp used several ways, each one beautiful.
