Seashell Shaker Card with Dana

May 27, 2019 / CATEGORIES - Cards, Shaker Cards

Hello, everyone!
It’s Dana and I’d like to share another summer shaker card with you today.

For this card, I started with ink blending the turquoise paper using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. Then, I stenciled sun rays with Underwater Sun Rays Stencil using Peacock Feather Distress Oxide Ink. I splattered clean water and let it dried.

Next, I die cut seashell from that paper using Seashell Shaker Die. I added Acetate Sheets to the back and peeled off protective blue sheet from only one side. It helps me save my time for coloring the shaker background! Hehe!

For the shaker elements, I mixed Sparkling Crystals, Majestic Confetti and March Crystals.

Then, I adhered all colored images as shown. Actually, I colored only some of them at this time and used extra colored pieces from my previous cards:) The images are from Jawsome, Mermaid For Each Other, Under the Sea. As a final touch, I white heat embossed a sentiment from Kobi the Super Bear onto black card stock and popped it up where I wanted.

Hope you enjoyed this card.

Happy crafting!
