I wanted to send you all some happy thoughts in the form of a cheerful card today. I love bright and colorful cards and this one just makes me smile as I hope it does you.
CARD DETAILS
To begin, I had stamped out the image from the POMAGRATE TRIMMINGS set and heat set it using Black embossing powder. I then used Arteza Brush pens to color the pomegranate images in non-traditional colors. I then fussy cut the image out.
Next, I die cut the HALFTONE LINES COVER using 4 different colors of cardstock. I then used the strips to create a colorful background for the card front. Because the die cuts various widths of strips you can use them to create various designs for the backgrounds.
I then added the POMAGRATE TRIMMINGS piece across the card front and popped it up using foam tape, trimming off the excess that hung off the sides.
For the sentiment, I stamped the Sending Happy Thoughts from the PEONY TRIMMINGS set on a banner from the coordinating PEONY TRIMMINGS dies.
For embellishments, I used LEMON BURST, SEAFOAM, PRISMATIC SKY, and BUBBLEGUM PEARLS.
