Hi everyone.
Svitlana here and in this card I want to feature a very interesting shaker filler – snowflakes. They’re plastic, matte and have some thickness. And they look more realistic, then snowflake sequins.
The inner part of the shaker I made out of dark blue cardstock, I cut it using Creative Nested Squares die set. Several snowflakes and dots from Happy Snowflakes set were white embossed on it.
The card base and the shaker border are made out of Neenah Solar White cardstock, and the dimensional part I cut out from white foam.
I used regular foam, not sticky back one. To make it sticky I adhered Stick-It sheets on the both sides. It’s so thin, that I didn’t have any problems at all die-cutting foam with Stick-It on both sides.
Inside of the shaker I placed snowflakes mentioned as well as some Icy Clear Seed Beads. Lastly I stamped the sentiment.
Shakers are fun cards, especially they’re fun for recipients. But they’re a bit more time consuming to make. So I this time I decided to go with the simpler design. And like how it turned out.
I like how clean it is. With some deep blue in the shaker window. I imagine this card as a view on a snowy night through the window 😉
Have a wonderful day!
