Hello everyone! Kristina here and today I want to show you a sparkly watercolor card with gorgeous Japanese Peony stamp set!
First, I stamped the flower and leaves images with clear embossing ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed with metallic powder.
Next, I watercolored the images using the “wet on wet” technique and splattered it with some of the leftover paint and also with a solution of Perfect Pearls. Once my coloring was done, I’ve added more details with colored pencils and die cut my panel using a die from Dotted Patterns: Darling Ribbon set.
For the sentiment, I white heat embossed “You’re the best” on a stripe of kraft cardstock and I die cut word “Friend” from Spring Bouquet die set out of gold mirror cardstock a few times to create more dimension and to make it stand out on my watercolor panel.
I adhered my panel onto a white card base and finished my card by adding some clear sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!
Kristina
