It’s Dana here. It’s been a while since I made a kind of interactive card and I’m so excited to share this shaker card with you today.
To start, I made an A2 sized panel by die cutting using Darling Ribbon & Frames. I die cut 3 windows with Dotted Patterns Set 2 as well. I then took an A2 sized bristol paper and ink blended it with Distress Oxide Inks using Ink Blender Brushes. I splattered clear water by fingers and let them dried.
I stamped images using Mermaid For Each Other, Under The Sea and Sweet Latte stamp sets onto bristol paper.
I watercolored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers using water brush. After they dried, I die cut them using each of Coordinating Dies.
Next, I began create 3 shakers. I adhered Acetate Sheets under window panel using double-sided tape. I also mounted foam tape and filled each sections with mixed embellishment. I used Sky Blue Crystals, Poseidon Crystals, Icy Sparkle Crystals and 3M Crystal Clear. I then peeled off protective tapes and put down ink blended panel on it.
I mounted all pieces where I wanted them and stamped a sentiment from Sweet Latte in black as shown in the picture. As a final touch, I gave some highlight to images using white gel pen.
