Super Kobi and the Monster Gang Halloween Scene Card with Ilda

October 11, 2018 / CATEGORIES - Cards, Halloween

Hello friends! Ilda here, and I’m back on the Studio Katia Blog today sharing this fun Halloween scene card featuring Kobi the Super Bear Stamps and Dies and together with the Monster Bash Stamp and Die set.

To make this card I started by stamping out all the images, colored them in with Copic markers and then die cut them using coordinating dies. I then blended out 3 colors of distress oxide inks onto my background (Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet and Black Soot) and then sprayed the surface with water and picked up the droplets with a paper towel. Next I sprayed the Spider Web Stencil with water and layed it onto the background, allowing it to get absorbed by the paper. I then carefully lifted the stencil off and picked up the water from the paper using a paper towel, which left behind the behind the spiderweb impressions. I then die cut the background using the large dotted rectangle from the Dotted Patterns Set 3 Die set. Then I arranged the little monsters and glue them into place (some directly onto the background and others popped up with foam tape for dimension). Stamped the Halloween Greeting onto the sentiment banner strip from the Best Ever Die set, and glued that into place. Then I finished the card front by adding these fun Silver Polka Fusion Sequins for some sparkle as well as glossy accents.

To the inside I stamped out this fun sentiment!

Hope this uper Kobi and the Monster Gang Halloween Scene Card has inspired you today!

Until next time… Have a BOO-tiful Day!

Ilda
