Home Cards Sweet Holiday Wishes

Sweet Holiday Wishes

by Tracy

I am about to mention the C word….Christmas. It is fast approaching, It feels just like last week was January and yet we are already midway through August !

I love working with the smaller stamps that come with a lot of stamp sets and often think they are really over looked. Today I have created a card using the candy cane stamps that are part of the Sweet Holiday Stamp set which is being retired and is on sale ! So grab a bargain.

I started off stamping and heat embossing the sentiment onto some Ranger Kraft card. I then took the candy cane stamps and mounted them onto my stamping block and randomly stamped them across the card panel.

Once I was happy I then coloured them using Polychromo coloured pencils and added some detail with white gel pen.

I then used the Dotted Patterns Scallop Frame and die cut the whole piece out and adhered it to a red card base.

I decided it needed something a bit more so I added some of the Silver Foil Crystals.

There is something I love about red, white & kraft as a color combo, especially for holiday cards.

What’s your favourite holiday card colour combination ?

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.

Happy Crafting.

How yummy are those candy canes that look as though they’re popping off the page! Fabulous festive!

This card is adorable! I love all things Christmas and I’m just starting my cards for this year. Thanks for the inspiration, this will certainly be in my cards this year 🙂 I have not tried Kraft yet but I just bought some so I’m thinking I’m going to love Red and White on Kraft LOL.
