Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today, I hope you all had a lovely weekend ?
I love alcohol inks, I had them many years ago but then I parted with them when I gave up crafting for a few years and then last year I got some again and just love working with them, one of the things I like about them is that you can make a card so easily with them.
I created a background onto some Yupo paper and then added a die cut word and a heat embossed sentiment and you have a pretty impactful card.
I wanted quite a vibrant card so used pinks and purples for the background and then left it to dry overnight.
I then used the main die from Dotted Patterns set 1 to die cut the panel and at the same time I used the Thank you word die from Thank You So Much set to cut out some gold glitter card.
I then took a sentiment from the Japanese Peony set and stamped and heat embossed it onto a strip of black card and adhered this across the panel and also adhered the die cut word.
I then created an A2 top folding black card base and adhered the whole piece to it, I thought it needed something else so I added a couple gold crystals to finish the card off.
A quite bold card which can be used for a few different occasions. Also a great way to make those word dies the focal point of the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day.
Happy Crafting.
