Hello friends!
Erum here today with a floral card. I also have a how-to video to share with you. You will find it at the end of this post.
This was an unplanned card. I actually have another card that I wanted to share but that will have to wait. I started by stamping the flower from Japanese Peony Stamp Set on watercolor paper and pencil shaded it with Prismacolor. I then die cut all the stamped images with the help of coordinating dies.
My card front is actually a leftover piece from my Mandala Stencil card that I shared HERE. I used gesso to create my original card, I then used the stencil as a stamp and stamped the leftover gesso onto a spare piece of cardstock and left it to air dry.
I used Chipped Sapphire distress stain as watercolor onto my background. Once it was dry, I added black paint splatters.
After adhering my flower and leaves, I popped my sentiment “you’re the best” with foam tape covering the floral image partially.
In the very end, I added Shimmering Ice Fusion and Iridescent Bubbles to the card front.
You can watch the video below or in HD on YouTube.
That is all from my side 🙂

Beautiful!
Thank you ♥
Erum, what a lovely technique to breathe life into this pretty bloom; you’ve elevated it to GORGEOUS! I’m going to try using my blending stumps without gamsol to see what happens. For some reason I also have gesso in my stash and had no idea what to do with it; you’re provided fabulous ideas! Off to try your techniques. If my results are half as good as yours, I’ll be thrilled! And yes, those bubbles…swooning! Thank you for the inspiration!
