Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I made a simple watercolor floral card!
Take a look:
I just love coloring, so today I decided to use a big flower that you can find in the Japanese peony stamp set. I stamped it on a watercolor paper and then I used ZIG watercolor markers to color it in. I used purple for the bloom and green for the leaves.
For the blendind I used watercolor brush which helps you color the images without deeping you brush in water over and over again.
To add some visual dimention on a card, I used a gray marker and outline the flower. This gives it a soft shadow and the shadow creates a nice depth.
I decided to go with a simple look, so the only thing I added was the sentiment. I took a black card stock and heat emboss the ‘Birthday wishes’ sentment that can be found in Blooming bunch stamp set. I trimmed the paper down to a small banner and glued it directly on the watercolor paper.
That’s it for today thank you so much for joining me!
Kaja
