Happy Wednesday, everyone!
It’s Dana here and I’d like to share two watercolor holiday cards today. It’s easy and fun and let’s get started!
For my first card, I pulled out cold pressed watercolor paper with Floral Snowflake Stencil. I ink blended watercolor panel using distress inks with Ink Blender Brushes. Then, I smoothed the image with clean water using paint brush. After it dried completely, I splattered distress inks here and there as shown.
Next, I die cut some alphabets and dots from metallic gold paper using Chunky Alphabet and Chunky Numbers. Before I foam mounted them, I stamped ‘joyeux’ from Snowflakes in black. I then mounted watercolor panel onto A2 sized blue card stock and embellished it with hemp cord.
For my next card, I created watercolor looks using same technique with first card. I used Snowflakes stamp set for snowflakes and Poinsettia Border for sentiment.
After it dried, I die cut ‘peace’ directly from watercolor panel and put them aside for next step. I took an A2 sized kraft card stock and mounted metallic silver paper and watercolor panel step by step.
Then, I adhered mini pop dots to negative pieces and mounted them as shown in the picture. I embellished Icy Sparkle Crystals and finished off this card.
Hope you enjoyed today’s cards. Happy crafting!
xoxo,
Dana
