Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I will show you how to make a simple floral birthday card!
Take a look:
You know I love both, flowers and watercoloring, so today I took the gorgeous Floral wreath stamp set and I stamp the image on the watercolor paper. Then, I took ZIG watercolor markers and color in the flowers in four different colors. The main two were soft and dark pink and then I added just a small amount of purple and blue. I wanted to have some shadowing in the middle cirlce, so I used a gray marker.
Then, I stamped out the sentiment that reads ‘Happy birthday to my crafty friend’ from the Birthday greetings stamp set. I possitioned it dirrectly in the center of the gray circle.
Next, I took a piece of gray paper and I trimmed it down to a size of the card base. I wanted the background to connect nicely to the image, so I sprinkled some white paint over it.
Once everything was dry I used Studio Katia liquid glue to put everything together.
Thank you so much for joining me!
Kaja
