Hello friends! Erum here today with a cutesy birthday card featuring the Winter Kobi stamp set.
Winter Kobi is a Christmas stamp set but you can use this for any occasion especially birthdays that fall in winter. You can also add a pattern to the scarf around Kobi’s neck and make it work all year round.
I started by adding some blue and purple Gansai Tambi watercolours to my background. After it was dry I heat embossed the tiny snowflake that I stamped several times with Versamark. I then proceeded to add sparkly, holographic glitter to the background. In the end I cut out the panel with the rectangle die from the Dotted Patterns Set 1.
I used the tiniest googly eyes on my Kobi, don’t they look cute?! I also added a bit of glossy accent to his nose!
I coloured the gifts with some regular markers and added glossy accent to some parts. That glittery, snowy ground was created with the larger of the two dies from Stitched Nested Creative Rectangles.
The “Happy Birthday” stamp is from Duo Talk Stamp Set and I drew the speech bubble around it just to add to the cutesy look.
I hope you like my card. Don’t you just love stretching a stamp set and using it for something other than it was meant for!
That is all from my side. Thank you for stopping by!
Erum
