Hey everyone, Tracy here. I hope you all had a great weekend ?
Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Japanese Peony stamp set.
I started off by stamping using Versafine black ink onto some Canson watercolour paper. I then taped the paper down and did some watercoloring using Distress Inks.
Once this was dry I used the co ordinating die to cut the peony out and left it to one side.
I trimmed down another piece of the Canson card to just under A2 size and added some black splatters using Black Soot Distress Ink and some Perfect Pearl water.
Whilst that was drying I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto some black card. I also created an A2 (5.5″ x 4.1/4″) top folding note card from some light grey cardstock.
I adhered the sentiment to the peony, I wanted some dimension so I added some foam tape to the back of the peony and adhered it to the splattered piece which i then adhered to the card base.
I thought it still needed something at this point so i added some white detail to the centre with a white gel pen and also added some Majestic Confetti.
I hope you liked what i created. Thank you so much for stopping by.
