Good morning, Studio Katia friends! Rubeena here with a card featuring You’re So Sweet, a lovely floral set that was released recently.
It’s no surprise I love to watercolor. I started by stamping the images from You’re So Sweet with a light gray ink on cold-pressed watercolor paper. I did some no-line watercoloring and then die-cut them with the coordinating You’re So Sweet Dies.
For the base, I did some watercolor ink smooshing (using a sheet of acetate film) on white cardstock. I ran it through the die-cutting machine with Halftone Dots Cover Die and removed the small dots. I glued this to my top-folding card base. Then I added the colored images with foam tape and added some Peridot Crystals with the newly released glue.
For the sentiment, I stamped with clear embossing ink on black cardstock and heat-set with white embossing powder. I trimmed it and mounted it over the flowers.
I hope you were inspired to watercolor (or do ink smooshing)! Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
