Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you a flower card, that I made using Japanese Peony stamp set. Studio Katia has so many gorgeous flowers for coloring. I think no one can resist their awesomness!
I’ve decided to do no-line coloring for more realistic look. I stamped peony image with light brown dye ink and used wet on wet technique for my watercoloring. I colored the image with my favorite ZIG watercolor markers and die cut colored flower and leaves with coordinating dies.
To create background for the peony I used large oval die from Dotted Ovals Creative Dies. I cut the oval, blended it with brown dye ink and sprinkled with water.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed “You’re the best” on brown cardstock using gold embossing powder and foam mounted overlapping my watercolored peony.
Finally, I adhered the oval panel onto a card base and added few Iridescent Crystals to finish my card.
