It has been a while since I last made a card for Studio Katia. Unfortunately, the Pandemic was hard on this little Canadian Stamp company but I am happy to see that she is back and as strong as ever. I am in love with her latest release. So many cute sets I can’t wait to share more.
CARD RECIPE
I am loving how this card came together. This latest trimming set VERY BERRY TRIMMINGS is so gorgeous!
To begin, I stamped out the VERY BERRY TRIMMINGS images using watermark ink and then heat embossed using gold embossing powder on Bristol paper. I then colored in the images using Karin Brushmarkers Pro and then used the coordinating VERY BERRY TRIMMINGS DIES. I also did the same with the BUTTERFLIES stamps and DIES.
The next thing I did was work on what would become the card front. To create it, I die cut the front panel using MICRO HEXAGON COVER. To give it some rigidity I added an acetate panel. I then glued it to the back panel that I had created using a little hinge. To the card front, I then glued the finished trimming panels using foam tape.
